Spanish Chicken Recipe

Got some chicken and rice that you’re sick of?

Add a few other simple ingredients to make this.

I’ve got to admit, I was either surprised by this or was straight up hangry, because I ended up eating the whole lot that evening.


Ingredients 🗒
100g dry rice
500g chicken breast
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 clove of garlic (not in the video)
1 can of chopped tomatoes
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp Rosemary
1/2 tsp sugar
Pinch salt & pepper


Method 📝
1) Heat the oil in the pan. Add the chopped onion, pepper, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and spices, then fry for 2 minutes.
2) Add the chicken and fry for 5 minutes.
3) Add the chopped tomatoes.
4) Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
5) Remove lid and simmer for a further a further 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
6) Serve with rice.
