Chicken Crockpot Recipe Stuffing

Chicken Crockpot Recipe Stuffing-Recipe 1

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs about 4 chicken breast
  • 1 6oz box of stuffing mix
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken condensed soup
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 10 oz bag frozen green beans
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare crockpot with cooking spray. Season chicken with salt/pepper and place in the bottom of a crockpot.
  • Next, top chicken with 1 box of stuffing mix.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together condensed soup, sour cream and water. Spread mixture over stuffing.
  • Place green bean on top. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours. If you need a longer cooking time, you can do LOW for 6 hours, but I recommend the high setting 🙂

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts,
  • 1.5 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
  • Salt/Pepper
  • 10.5 oz. cream of chicken soup,, low sodium
  • 8 oz. sour cream,, (equivalent to 1 cup)
  • 6 oz. box stuffing mix
  • ¾ cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, See notes
  • Optional stuffing additions:
  • 1/2 cup onions,, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery,, diced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup crumbled sausage,, (cooked or raw)
  • 2 teaspoons dry rosemary

Instructions

Crock Pot Method

  • Season the chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Place on the bottom of a lightly greased Crock Pot.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the soup, sour cream, stuffing, and *half* of the chicken broth. Layer the stuffing mix over the chicken.
  • Add the green beans.
  • Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 6-7.
  • Optional: Serve with gravy and mashed potatoes if desired.
  • If you’d prefer additional moisture, add the rest of the chicken broth, stir, and heat for an additional 10 minutes.
  • For firmer stuffing, leave the lid off the crock pot for the last 30-40 minutes of cooking. Use foil to cover the chicken to keep it moist.

    You can also pop it in a 400 degree oven for 10-15 minutes to brown up the top.

  • Optional: Serve with gravy and mashed potatoes if desired.

Ingredients

  • 3 large chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder divided use
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (6 oz) box Stove Top chicken stuffing
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
  • 1 10 oz bag frozen whole green beans
  • 1/3 cup water or milk

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Season chicken breasts with one teaspoon garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle the dry Stove Top chicken stuffing mix over the chicken.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and water.
  • Spread this mixture over the stuffing layer.
  • Sprinkle the frozen green beans on top. Season again with one teaspoon garlic powder and a bit more salt and pepper.
  • Cook on high for 4 ½ to 5 hours. Chicken temperature should be 165f degrees when fully cooked.
  • Then dig in!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • (1) 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup We make Homemade Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 6 oz box of Stove Top chicken boxed Stuffing
  • (1) 12 oz bag frozen green beans

Instructions

  1. Place the boneless chicken breasts in the crock pot. I like to filet mine, but that is optional. Season the chicken with garlic salt.
  2. In a medium bowl mix together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream.
  3. Spread over the chicken in the crock pot.
  4. Sprinkle the box of Stove Top Stuffing over the chicken.
  5. Then add the frozen green beans on top.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the lid on top. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
