Whole 30

Whole30 Diet // What I Ate Days 1 to 5 // Meal Prepping

I started this diet as I have chronic extreme fatigue, dizziness, motion sickness, nausea, anxiety, muscular pain, eczema, acne, problems losing weight – and many other fun things!! I’m really hopeful this will do something for me. I’m usually against extreme diets but I wanted to do something drastic because I’m not willing to feel this bad anymore. I want a better quality of life, physically and mentally. I’m sick of being sick. The Whole30 diet involves cutting out dairy, all grains including wheat/gluten and rice, soy, legumes like chickpeas, lentils, corn etc, most additives and all sucrose. This very much limits your ability to buy packaged foods and so you will eat mostly wholefoods (vegetables, meat, fruit). The idea is to eliminate foods which are potentially aggravating your health issues, help the gut heal to some degree over 30 days and then reintroduce each eliminated food separately for at least 10 days afterwards to assess how you feel. I’m not sure that’s enough time to actually eliminate a food or reintroduce it, but I just picked this so I’m sticking with it. Other people have really good results so I’m willing to give it a try. I’ve never been good at sticking to diets, or calorie limits – so something this extreme will be SOOO hard.

(I am not affiliated with this program/diet, nor am I recommending anyone else to do it, I have no clue what my results will be and everyone is different, but if you have an interest in what I’m doing or why, then visit the link)
