1 Chicken Breast
1 5 oz can Water Chestnuts slices or slivers
1/4 cup Cashews crushed
1 Onion (medium)
1 cup Carrots chopped or diced
1/2 Bell Pepper Chopped
2 Tbs Corn Starch
1 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbs Hoisin Sauce
1 Tbs Soy Sauce Low sodium
2 tsp Garlic minced
1/2 tsp Ginger
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes More if you like spicy
1 Tbs Chicken bouillon base Better than bouillon
Add oil to hot pan (med high heat), add chicken and carrots and cook for about 10 min.
Add 1/2 cup chicken broth along with soy sauce, water chestnuts, cashews, chicken base, pepper flakes.
Add 1/4 cup broth to a baggie, add 2 TBS corn starch to it and set aside.
Reduce your chicken broth for 10 min, once this is done add the remaining 3/4 cup chicken broth. Bring back to boil and add your corn starch mixture to thicken.
