Beef and mushrooms is a nourishing dish to fill you and your family up at dinner!


Olive oil
1 kg rump beef
Black pepper
1 pcs white onion
2 cups mushroom stock
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp paprika
2 cups fresh mushroom


Cut rump beef to slices.

Use salt, black pepper and mustard on esch side of beef.

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan. Grill the beef slices from each side about for 2 minutes.

Heat olive oil in a pan.

Add chopped onion and simmer until soft.

Add little but of mushroom stock and simmer until the stock is evaporated. Repeate this process twice.

Add cumin and paprika. Mix all together.

Put back grilled beef and add little bit of mushroom stock.

Bring it to boil. Simmer the beef for 2 hours.

Add fresh mushrooms and if needed little bit of a mushroom stock.

Bring it to boil again and slow cook for another 1 hour.

Add fresh black pepper and salt if needed, depends on your taste.

Serve with rice and pickle.
