In this video I present Pan Fried Teriyaki Salmon Recipe. I show how to cook delicious salmon in teriyaki sauce marinade on stove. Marinade makes sweet, gingery, garlic and sesame taste for those fillets. You can bake it but I decided to cook my salmon on the pan as I really wanted to cut down on preparation time and make everything easy and simple. I like to marinade my seafood for at least 30 minutes or overnight but if mentioned time is a concern and you haven’t prepared fillets in advance then don’t worry – it is still going to be fine. Most important is to eat healthy homemade meals instead of fast food ones and to not overstress over the preparations.
Ingredients needed for 2 servings:
1 lbs fresh wild caught salmon fillets
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
Personally I always rinse off seafood under the running water. I drain fish fillets well and place it in food container. I pour teriyaki sauce over the salmon and marinate it overnight or at least for 30 minutes. Warm up the pan. Don’t add any cooking oil cause the store bought teriyaki sauce has already oil in it. I fry my fish on sauce – the same leftover sauce that was marinating fish in the container overnight. Fry seafood on medium heat. Place salmon skin side up on the pan. After some time flip fish over and cook it until it’s done. Be careful to not overcook fish. Overcooked seafood is just horrible in taste so you may check with food thermometer if the fish is cooked properly. I like to serve teriyaki salmon with mashed cauliflower and baby arugula.
